"My beautiful Sally, I love you more every day"

This beautiful Australian couple,Sally & John, got eloped on the 13th August 2018 in Villa Cipressi. They had a legally binding ceremony held by the fantastic Mayor of Varenna. After the ceremony the two enjoyed an aperitivo followed by a romantic boat tour on the lake with some nice prosecco. They then had dinner at Grand Hotel Serbelloni, a five star hotel in Bellagio.

 Australians, living in Malaysia and getting married in Italy. 

This beautful couple got legally married at Villa Cipressi. Unfortunately the weather was stormy during the ceremony and therefore it was held in the beatiful indoor of the villa. 

I was excited to be part of their day as I, together with my collegue,were their witnesses. 

As they exchanged the rings, he surprised her with his promises in Italian " La mia bellissima Sally, ti amo ogni giorno di piu'. Mi unisco alla mia vita con la tua." Which translates as: "My beautiful Sally, I love you more every day. I join my life with yours".

An absolutely sweet and romantic ceremony! 

As the ceremony ended, the sky cleared up. The two enjoyed an Italian aperitivo in the gardens, followed by lots of photographs. 

They then took a lovely boat tour ,all the way to Villa Balbianello, as they enjoyed some good prosecco on board.

 


Wedding Reception

They ended the night at La Mistra Restaurant, at Grand Hotel Serbelloni, holder of a star in the Michelin Guide.
