A magical wedding at Lido di Lenno, Lake Como, wedding gallery on lake Como

Katie and Ashley had their dream wedding in Lake Como. The bride got ready in one of the most stunning 5 star hotels, ‘Grand Hotel Tremezzo’, she then took a boat with her father and bridesmaids to Villa Balbianello. The civil ceremony was held there, under the arches; followed by a refreshment on the upper terrace of the villa. A true Italian aperitivo with aperol spritz, cheeses and hams. After the aperitivo the couple and their guests moved to the reception venue, Lido di Lenno; a fun, shabby chic venue. They welcomed everyone in the garden with another refreshment, followed by an Italian dinner.

Wedding Ceremony

Villa Balbianello

The civil ceremony was held at Villa Balbianello, under the arches. A string quartet playing classical music accompanied all the guests to their seats. The bride's entrance was magical and emotional. Pastel roses and gypsophilia compositions added elegance to the ambience of the room. After the ceremony, they all went for a nice refreshment on the upper terrace of the villa. Breathtaking view, cold aperol spritz and tasty canapes, all accompanied by sweet melodies.

Wedding Reception

Lido di Lenno

The reception was held at Lido di Lenno. A fun and more laid back venue but still elegant and dreamy. The place is situated right by the lake. They all enjoyed an aperitivo in the garden and then moved under the marquee for a sit down meal, the Italian way! The guests then all went down to the beach to admire the cut of the beautiful cake. Fire fountains accompanied the couple to the table, with a gigantic cake filled with roses and rose petals. The sandy beach was filled with candles and lanterns and as they were about to cut the cake, their backs were lit with incredible fire fountains, adding romance to their perfect, dream wedding. ‘Shine bright like a diamond’ started playing as they made their first dance as wife and husband. The night continued with lots of alcohol and everyone dancing to a great live band.
